We have a great interest in promoting our national games here in Crinkill NS and in recent years we have been able to compete in hurling, camogie, football, ladies football and we have represented Offaly in both boys and girls handball! We have has many successes in these competitions and our students have thoroughly enjoyed training, developing their skills, playing games and being involved in our school teams. We also enter the skills competitions every year in all 4 categories. Thanks to the many staff members who are involved with these teams, as well as our visiting coach Ryan Kinahan, some parents and local GAA representatives. A special mention to Mrs. Nolan, Caroline and Ms. Kennedy who coordinate and organise the trainings, games, buses, referees. We are also lucky enough to have Declan Cooke visit the school to play rounders with the senior classes in the third term too. We are so grateful to all of these people for their time, commitment and encouragement throughout the school year.
