A busy start to February in Senior Infants 📸✨
Over the last month 6th class have been studying narrative writing. They have worked in small groups to create short stories and worked individually to create their own narrative stories. Great work 6th class.

Happy St.Brigid's Day from 3rd Class.
As part of an Erasmus project, 5th class simulated a European Council summit meeting to discuss the European Commission’s proposal to resolve the migration issue. The students acted as prime ministers of the EU countries, with each putting forward their country’s perspective. To conclude, each ‘prime minister’ then cast their vote: YES or NO to the proposal. Well done 5th👏 👏
5th class enjoyed a taster station at 4th class’s STEM lab. They completed the challenges set (eg. Coding , building bridges & stable Lego towers)

3rd Class have had a very busy January, from visiting the library and buddy reading with Senior Infants every Thursday, baking bread, learning about weather, STEM Lab on Fridays and everything else in between.
Dancing our way through the winter blues 🙌 We learnt about the Chinese New Year and designed our own dragons! 🐉 In art we painted four seasons on one tree and drew pandas 🐼 Second class were very excited to start coding lessons with scratch jr learning about algorithms and sprites! We’ve started exploring area in maths! #secondclass
