MyEU50
6th Class took part in the My EU5O initiative to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Ireland joining the European Union. To complete the project we chose a country that was a member of the European Union and researched it. We decided to research and study Greece. To do this we researched all about Greek history and geography, Greek mythology, Greek art, Greek food and Greek famous people. We created some amazing projects, made Greek vases, drew Greek gods and goddess and cooked some Greek cuisine. We made moussaka, Bougasta, Baklava and Tzatsiki. To demonstare all of our hard work we held a presentation afternoon showcasing all of our work. We were awarded with a certificiate of participation from the European Movement of Ireland.
