3rd Class had a great day today stepping into Christmas with all things Toy Show. They really enjoyed themselves at the Toy Show held by 6th Class. They then took part in their own Toy Show Show and Tell and decorated Christmas cookies with Fiona. 🎄🎄
✨Toy Show Takeover ✨ A big thank you to 6th class from Senior Infants, we really enjoyed all the fantastic toys on display for the toy show today! ⚽️🏌️🥊🍬🎲We also designed some fabulous Christmas jumpers for host 🕺 Earlier in the week we had a very special visitor arrive to keep an eye on the classroom and enjoyed dance with Deirdre too 🪩💃 A great start to December!
6th class spent the last 5 weeks designing and making toys. Today they set them up in the hall and had a toy show for all the classes in the school. They all put in a huge effort and were incredibly kind to all the younger children. Well done 6th.

Take a look at some parts of November in Senior Infants 📸 We learned about the arctic and made some lovey artic animals, polar bear fact files and Inuits 🐻❄️❄️ We also enjoyed reading Lost and Found and made our own penguin friends 🐧 Dance, games and science week brought loads of fun too! 🕺

6th class could do whatever they wanted for homework this week. They wrote recipes, baked beautiful treats, carved wood, made origami, drew and coloured beautiful pictures, practiced and performed music, created decorations, made wordsearches and researched and presented projects. They as always put in a great effort and their homework was outstanding! Well done 6th!

5th class were delighted to be the first passengers on Birr Castle’s latest attraction. They thoroughly enjoyed the first train ride around the Demesne. Thank you #birrcastlegardens .
Friday marked Diabetes Awareness Day in Ireland. We read picture books about children with diabetes and we all wore blue to mark the day! Paige very generously shared stickers and cake with her classmates and teachers to show her appreciation! 💙 #diabetesawareness #secondclass
